Waynetown, July 3 - Mrs. Sarah Ellen Switzer, a life-long resident of Montgomery County, died at her home here Friday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock after a serious illness of 10 weeks of complications. Deceased had been in failing health several years. Mrs. Switzer was born near Waynetown March 7, 1853, the daughter of Levi J. and Mary Pierce Moore. She was united in marriage to Scott Switzer on February 6, 1878. She was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church and had been a resident of Waynetown the past 40 years. Deceased is survived by the husband and four daughters, Mrs. Henry Weir of near Yountsville; Mrs. Charles Venice (sic) and Mrs. Thomas Barnett of this place and Mrs. Louis Stalnaker of Indianapolis. 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a half sister, Mrs. Elwood Shank of Elmdale and 3, 1/2 brothers, George and John Moore living in washington state also survive. Funeral services will be held from the home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. Cletis Brown, pastor of the local Baptist Church and Rev. E.L. Eckerly of Crawfordsville. - kbz
